A revolutionary design from a highly talented designer. This original Leaf Lamp by Yves Behars for Herman Miller boasts touch technology and great flexibility! The lamp swivels and extends whilst only using LEDs to save energy and even features ambient changing lighting too, offering ‘cool’ or ‘warm’ lighting!

Introduced in 2007, the lamp won many awards for its ‘green energy’ usage and for the innovative design features it used to overcome issues similar lights had at the time. Using the now more common LED feature, it overcame the heat issue by a clever heat dissipation design which leaves it cool to the touch. It also swivels from side to side and the ‘leaf’ section folds to be flush with the stem or extends upwards to fully release the 10 LEDS on the underside.

Individual Characteristics

This a new old stock item and is new in the box. The lamp features an adaptable plug allowing it to be plugged into UK, EU and US sockets.

The lamp allows the user to dim the lighting strength and to also change it between a ‘warm’ and ‘cool’ setting depending on the ambience required.

The label on the underside of the lamp indicates this is an original piece produced by Herman Miller in 2007 – actual date may vary as there are a number of these available.
