This is a used, rather rare Emerson AM radio designed by Charles Ray & Eames for Emerson. This model is a 578A model, and it is made from plywood produced by Evans company around 1946, famous for its plywood production. A rather unique Eames collection, this radio is a perfect piece for collectors and those who truly love vintage pieces. 

Individual Characteristics

This AM radio tube is in vintage condition, and the picture does reflect this. There are signs of age consistent with its old age, we cannot guarantee that it will work successfully as it is made in the US, this piece would be more suitable for display purposes.  For further images and measurements, please contact us.
